ASW Tahoe has a variety of competitive events designed for the very beginner to professional athlete. Below is a description of each. Click on the link to find more information.

Olympic Valley Half Marathon, June 15, 2024

The Olympic Valley Half Marathon starts and finishes at the iconic Village At Squaw Valley, site of the historic 1960 Winter Olympics. The course is fast and flat, a scenic out and back featuring mainly paved trail through the valley and along the Truckee River. During the route keep an eye out for bald eagles, mule deer and trout leaping out of the river all while enjoying the cool, refreshing sierra air.

Olympic Valley 8 Miler, June 15, 2024

The course distance is approximately 7.88 miles. Start and finish at the Village at Squaw Valley.

Lake Tahoe Mountain Bike Race – June 22, 2024

Race in the cross country race, 4 or 8 hour race as a solo or on a team of 2, 3, 4 (teams of 3 and 4 apply to the 8hr race only). The course is approximately 12 miles and a mix of single track and fire-road. The most laps wins!

Burton Creek Trail Run – June 23, 2024

6K, 12K, and 1/2 Marathon Distance available. The Burton Creek Trail Run takes place on a beautiful, fun and challenging trail system within Burton Creek State Park. Demo the latest in Salomon Trail Running Shoes and try the Big Blue BBQ.

Tahoe Off Road Triathlon – June 29, 2024

Tahoe off-road triathlon that celebrates the natural environment of the North Shores excellent terrain, trails and blue water.

Tahoe Off Road Duathlon -June 29, 2024

Tahoe Off Road Duathlon is a Run-Bike-Run event on the same great course as the Tahoe Off Road Tri main races.

Tahoe Off Road Aquabike -June 29, 2024

Tahoe Off Road Aquabike is a Swim, then Mountain Bike event on the same great course as the Tahoe Off Road Triathlon main races.

Tahoe City Swim, June 29, 2024

There is a 1/2 mile, 1.2 mile, and 2.4 mile course set up just off of Commons Beach where spectators can see the action first hand.
